About Me
12:43 Edit This 0 Comments »My name is Hannah Atterbury and I am a Journalism student at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have always been obsessed with beauty products and you will most likely find me poring over the counters in Boots or Superdrug looking for the latest products to try.
I am often very interested in what ingredients actually goes into the thousands of products on offer and what works and what is just over enthusiastic advertising. The latest boom for brands to claim "natural ingredients" has really caught my attention. Why is it that companies such as Vaseline, Nivea and Dove have begun to include infusions of hemp, seaweed and shea butter in their product lines?
I conducted an investigation around Canterbury, asking beauticians, shop owners and the public their views on the matter. Are natural ingredients really as effective as we are led to believe and how many people actually care? There is only one way to find out...
